The Willows has been registered by HMCI as a Children’s Home. We have a nurturing, spacious home, which can accommodate seven children and young people. We provide accommodation for both genders within the age range of 7-18 upon admission. Our primary focus is to provide 52 week placements but we will consider term time and respite placements subject to suitable placement matching.

All of our children and young people will have their own unique strengths and difficulties for which we will individually tailor their care. They will be formally diagnosed or present with the following:

• Autistic Spectrum Disorder
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Learning Difficulties
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in relation to
  primary needs

Most will have been assessed or currently in the process of being assessed as having a special educational need and will be supported by a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education Health Care Plan (EHC Plan)

Our Supported Living Service is registered with Care Quality Commission (CQC) to support service users aged 18 years and over of mixed age, ability and gender. As a supported living service, we will be providing support to service users in their own or rented accommodation, therefore we have not limited the age range as it is service users who will have the choice of who they decide to live with,
who they receive support from and how long they receive the support for. We support and empower service users to communicate their individual wishes and preferences.

Our service can provide short, medium and long term support. The regulated activities to be undertaken include personal care. The Registered/Service Manager, Natalie Mannall, will manage the regulated activities and support packages.

Service users living at the service will be:

• Adults 18 to 65 years’ old
• Adults Learning Disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder
